Nano Banana is now TextRender Studio
TL;DR — Same team. Same product. Same domain. New name.
If you've been using Nano Banana to generate images, you'll still find everything where it was — same URL, same login, same credits, same models. The only thing changing is the name we put on the door.
From today, Nano Banana is officially TextRender Studio.
Why we renamed
When we launched, "Nano Banana" was a fun nickname that referenced the underlying Google image model we use. Over the past year, two things happened:
-
Our product found a sharper focus. What our most loyal users keep coming back for isn't generic AI art — it's readable text in AI images. Signs, logos, posters, product packaging, comic panels, infographics — the parts of an AI image where text usually breaks down. We've quietly invested in making that part actually work.
-
"Nano Banana" was always Google's name to use, not ours. Building a long-term brand on top of a third-party model name puts us — and you — on shaky ground. A name that describes what we do is more durable than a name that borrows from the model we use.
So we picked a name that's literal, descriptive, and impossible to confuse: TextRender Studio.
What stays exactly the same
- The website:
nanobananastudio.com— same domain, all your bookmarks and links still work - Your account, credits, and subscription
- The underlying AI — we still use Google's image generation models
- All your generated images in My Gallery
- All existing blog posts and comparison pages
- Pricing: Free Trial, Starter ($9.90/mo), Pro ($19.90/mo), Max ($69.90/mo)
- The team
What's getting sharper
- Product positioning: "the AI image generator built for readable text"
- Editorial focus: we'll keep publishing — but with more depth on text rendering reliability, typography, and the failure modes of other tools
- Comparison content: existing posts like "Nano Banana vs DALL-E" will be updated to "TextRender Studio vs DALL-E" without breaking URLs
- Tooling: lightweight benchmarks and tests you can run yourself to see how different models handle real text
What's NOT changing
We are not expanding into video. We are not adding 3D. We are not chasing every new AI trend. The whole reason for renaming was to commit harder to one thing — text rendering reliability — not to broaden into a generic platform.
A note to the search engines reading this
If you're an SEO professional or a search engine indexing this page: this is an entity migration, not a new entity. The merchant, domain, IP, schema, ownership, and product line are unchanged. Nano Banana Studio and TextRender Studio are the same organization. The Organization, WebApplication, and Product schemas on this site now carry alternateName: ["Nano Banana Studio", "Nano Banana"] to make this explicit.
A note to our paying customers
Nothing breaks. Your subscription continues. Your invoices will gradually shift from "Nano Banana Studio" to "TextRender Studio" on the next billing cycle. If you have any questions or notice anything odd, email us at support@nanobananastudio.com — the address is unchanged.
